A busy St Davids weekend for Royal Buckley as they travelled to Swansea. The band were looking forward to making their presence felt and their hard work of the last few weeks pay off as they competed at the Welsh Regional Championships.
With the adjudicators remarking on the incredibly high standard of playing from all the competitors, Royal Buckley gave a 'colourful' performance of the test piece, 'The Golden Sabre', creating 'a good atmosphere' and 'capturing the style' of their test piece ~ all of which earned them 7th place in the Second Section.

** The Government has issued guidance for us all around covid-19, to isolate and avoid all non-essential contact. In response to this all our activities have stopped for the foreseeable future. This includes rehearsals, concerts, contests, committee meetings, other group activity & individual lessons.

We dedicate so much of our time & energy to our playing. However, we know that band isn’t only about the spectacle or even the outcome. Every day, we get the opportunity to represent Buckley & Wales in our every endeavour, drive forward the legacy of the players who have come before us & ensure the future for those to come.

Being a member of a brass band is about hard work, resilience & being part of something greater than ourselves. The current health crisis encourages us to take these tenets & apply them outside banding, as citizens of the world.

Thank you for supporting us & being part of the Royal Buckley family. **󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
